Encouraging the study and treatment of human infertility
The Irish Fertility Society was founded in 2005. It was set up by professionals working in the field of Reproductive Medicine in Ireland. It is based around the Constitution and Bye Laws and it has a broad base to include and represent doctors, scientists, nurses, counsellors and administrative staff working in the area of Infertility in Ireland.
Irish Fertility Society is hosting its 8th Annual conference at The Grand Hotel, Malahide Dublin on 16th and 17th May 2014. The IFS 7th Annual Scientific Meeting took place on 17th and 18th May 2013 in Radisson Blu, Athlone. It was a very successful meeting and we were delighted to welcome Prof Richard Fleming, Dr Thorir Hardarson and Prof Guido Pennings as our Guest Speakers. The 2nd Irish Congress of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Perinatal Medicine (ICOGPM) took place on Fri 30th Nov and Sat 1st Dec 2012 at Druid's Glen Hotel. This incorporated 8 societies including Irish Fertility Society. The Irish Fertility welcomed Guest Speakers Prof Arne Sunde, Prof John O'Leary and Prof Sheena Lewis to the meeting.
