Encouraging the study and treatment of human infertility

The Irish Fertility Society was founded in 2005. It was set up by professionals working in the field of Reproductive Medicine in Ireland. It is based around the Constitution and Bye Laws and it has a broad base to include and represent doctors, scientists, nurses, counsellors and administrative staff working in the area of Infertility in Ireland.

IFS have two excellent speakers, Prof David Adamson & Prof Tom Fleming and we will also have a dedicated free communications session and a session for an AGM.

All those submitting an abstract must also register for the conference itself via rcpi.ie and pay the appropriate fee (see fee schedule in downloads attached).

The Executive Committee is really keen to have as many people as possible at this meeting and in particular at our AGM, as there are serious issues that need to be discussed regarding the future of the Irish Fertility Society.

ESHRE Basic Semen Analysis Training & Certification
This course gives people the ESHRE Basic Semen Analysis training and certificate of it. This is the best way to check your Andrology Lab are meeting the requirements of WHO and the ESHRE guidelines. The 2nd Irish Congress of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Perinatal Medicine (ICOGPM) took place on Fri 30th Nov and Sat 1st Dec 2012 at Druid's Glen Hotel. This incorporated 8 societies including Irish Fertility Society. The Irish Fertility welcomed Guest Speakers Prof Arne Sunde, Prof John O'Leary and Prof Sheena Lewis to the meeting.
